Listing rules
What we list
DevPages lists software tools for people who build software: developer tools, APIs, infrastructure, AI and data tools, and the products developers use to ship. A listing describes one real, working product that you own or are authorised to represent.
We remove listings that
- Adult, sexual or NSFW: or links to such content.
- Scams, malware, phishing or deception: fake download buttons, crypto or investment schemes, "guaranteed income", impersonation of another product or company.
- Breaks the law or helps others to: illegal goods, hacking other people's systems without permission, piracy, hate or harassment.
- Gambling, weapons, drugs: or products for them.
- Doesn't work: the site is down, parked, a placeholder, or the product isn't available.
- Off-topic: not a tool for building or running software.
- Duplicate: of a tool already listed, or a second listing for the same product.
- Misleading: claims about awards, users, ratings, partners or results you can't back up, or screenshots of a different product.
- Content you don't have rights to: images, logos or text.
What paying does and doesn't do
- An Instant listing goes live when payment clears and carries a "Paid listing" label. Its link to your site is marked as sponsored, as search engines require for paid links.
- We review every new listing. Until then, search engines are asked not to index the page.
- If we remove a paid listing for breaking these rules, we refund it in full.
- If you haven't verified your website and its verified owner asks us to, we remove your listing and refund it in full.
- Paying doesn't change where your tool ranks in lists, comparisons or the Top 20.
